It’s been quite some time since we were planning the “Social media & Blog camp” to be held at Indiatimes, Gurgaon on 7th June’08. It started as an idea from scratch and finally we have managed to get a sponsored venue for this exciting event. Indiatimes, our gracious sponsor is also providing us free wi-fi, lunch, tea/coffee and snacks. There is so much to learn on Social media & blogging in the social marketing context. Are you going to be there? You can register as a speaker or just as an attendee.
This is a one-day semi-camp style “unconference”* which brings together stakeholders and audiences of social media and blogging. The wave of social media in India (which includes Facebook, 
Myspace, Twitter, LinkedIn, Ryze, Orkut, YouTube, Flickr and many more) has led to a huge interest in the personal and business implications of this here-to-stay form of interaction. Blogging has already been a huge platform of expression for professionals and citizens from all walks of life.

I accidently got to hear you on air (Meow FM )and many thanks to you and ginnie and I got the opportunity to know more about blogs and could attend the Scoial Media and Blog Camp which was excellently organised.Speakers were awesome especially Madhavan.I left quite early around 11:30 (tea break)as I had some other commitments and felt bad as i could not attend it till end.Hope to see presentations and other video/audio recordings as and when you shall update it.
Looking forward to participate in such events and seminars /workshops in future.

really enjoyed being at the camp . I was planning to leave after lunch but the proceedings were so interesting that I left at lunch to attend to my prior committment and joined back after lunch only to sit thru the entire sessions . Indiatimes did a great job by supporting such initiative . More should follow.
You event organisers also deserve kudos for bringing such stimulating activity to all of us .
