@TheRainPoet and to top it today I had specifically asked about any difference in service from @Uber_India ..wasn’t told abt surge price 🙁

@TheRainPoet @Uber_India yes I’ve checked at the same location from other accounts.NOT showing surge,however fare estimate is sky rocketing!

@Uber_India whereas if I try a mock request the fare estimate is sky rocketing! (Without surge icon being anywhere!) This isnt done.

@Uber_India that calculation is always variable! Why is surge not bring shown in the app?! I checked even right now cabs are NOT showing it

@Uber_India yes the same one we had discussion about 2 days back .. My mother is on the trip right now & the driver confirmed surge is on!

. @Uber_India and BTW surge pricing has been banned by the govt.. On what basis are higher rates being charged?

. @Uber_India just booked a cab and even though app didn’t show surge pricing , we are being CHARGED surge pricing! What sorcery is this?!
